Happy Saturday! This week has been crazy for me. It was our last week of classes for the semester so there is a lot to be done before I move out on Thursday (just 5 days away—ahh!!). This semester has gone by so quickly, I really feel like I fell asleep at the beginning of September and am just now waking up thinking “Ohmygosh! Where has the time gone?!”
As scary as finals are though, I’m ready to go home and spend a ton of time with my family before heading to Ireland in January for my semester abroad! It will be such an amazing time and I cannot wait for everything I will experience there.
On another note, today I wanted to share with you all some books I have on my “To Read” list. It seems as though there are a ton of great books out and I can’t wait to be home so I’ll have some spare time to read them! So without further ado, let’s begin!
1. Girl in the Woods by Aspen Matis
I have the copy of this in my room waiting to be started upon the end of finals! Aspen’s story is so inspirational and I cannot wait to have the chance to read it!
2. Wild by Cheryl Strayed
Another memoir about hiking the Pacific Crest Trail! This may be a bit more well-known given that it was recently made into a movie. I’m excited to read it so I can finally watch the film afterwards!
3. 12 Years a Slave by Solomon Northrup
Another book that was made into a movie a few years ago. I’ve been meaning to read this one for a while but haven’t had the chance between school and everything else going on in life! I’m hoping to read this one so I can also watch the film.
4. Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
You’re probably noticing a trend by now with books on this list getting made into films. As someone who will soon be spending an extended amount of time in another country, I’m making this book a priority to read before I leave.
What’s on your reading list? Have you read any of these books? Let me know in the comments!
